Gozon Long Sleeve Striped and Sequined Pocket Top

It has been a serious and really long minute since I've posted. For the last couple of months, there's been a lot going on behind the scenes that demanded a great deal of my attention. (We'll get to that later.) But, for now as the dust has settled a bit, I'm back and pumped to share some new things as well as celebrate the holidays with you!

First, let's talk about my Long Sleeve Striped Top by Gozon. Who doesn't love stripes and sequins?! I'm really excited to partner with Gozon. They have such a unique clothing collection of outerwear, tops, sweaters, and bottoms in both regular and plus sizes. They're classic, yet trendy, but not too trendy, making them long-term pieces for your wardrobe.

This Gozon top  is super soft and comfortable. I paired it with my favorite distressed jeans and booties, but you could wear this top with skirts, shorts, joggers or leggings. The length of the top is perfect for pairing with leggings but also for a front-tuck in your jeans like mine. I'm wearing the Olive Striped Top, but it also comes in a couple of other colors.

The striped print in colors of gold, red, navy, and green is so fun and perfect for fall. I'm a sucker for stripes but tend to stay away from a lot of color. But there's just something about these stripes of color and the sequined pocket that makes this top...happy!

Go grab a little happy for yourself by checking out the entire collection in their online store at Gozon.comYou can also find/follow them on Instagram at instagram.com/gozoncom. For any of your purchases, use code JILLY15 for 15% discount off your entire order. You can knock out some of your holiday shopping now and buy yourself a few things too. Now there's a plan! - Jill xoxo

Special thanks to Gozon for gifting me this top, but as always, opinions are 100% my own.

Fall Style Favorites Roundup

Fall Style Favorites Roundup 2017.jpg

Hey, all! I was so excited to start looking for fall pieces and get this fall style favorites roundup posted. I think fall is the best season for fashion or at least the most fun. Boots, scarfs, cardigans, and the coolest layering trends happen this time of year. We really begin seeing the mixing of textures, colors, and patterns now. It's so much fun and really express our personal style.

I was so happy that many of the trends from last year are making an appearance this year as well. Who knows, maybe they're becoming or are now considered classics?! Over-the-knee boots like THESE, moto jackets like THIS beautiful suede one, and bomber jackets like THIS adorable pink one, booties, leopard and stripe prints (thank goodness), and hats like THIS new style are front and center once again, and I ain't mad at all! We can all pull out last year's pieces and build a solid fall and winter wardrobe utilizing all of those great finds from last year.

Below you will find everything for top to bottom looks including handbags and accessories. If you're looking for new skin, hair and other suggestions, check out all of the new products I've featured in my sidebar and under my "SHOP" tab at the top of the page. I've made tons of new updates and site changes over the last few weeks, so definitely take a look around, have fun, and, of course, happy fall, ya'll! -  Jill xoxo

Today's Look: A Favorite Spring Fashion Transition Piece

Hello, my friends! Today was yet another gorgeous day. I'm wowed by the beautiful, warm, and breezy days we've been having here in South Florida. Spring has definitely sprung here and is starting to everywhere else so it seems.

I'm sure everyone is making their list of must-haves for the upcoming season which is only 22 days away! Woooo hoooo! To pick the right pieces for early Spring can be a pain in the you-know-what though because the weather can be tricky and fickle (70 degrees today and snow tomorrow in some places) for those weeks leading up to Spring and for a few weeks following the official start. It's important, for this reason, to add a few pieces that are light enough to wear on those warm days but also add a little warmth for those chilly mornings, days, or evenings.

This lightweight, duster cardigan is THE perfect Spring piece to add to your closet. The material is unbelievably soft and light but will keep any nippy air out. It's the most comfortable cardigan I own (and boy do I have a lot of cardigans).

Because it isn't heavy or bulky, it layers like a dream. I layered it here with one of my new favorite short-sleeve tops with the crisscross front in pink blush. This top is very comfortable and soft, and hangs in the most flattering way on the body but also is a great shirt for front tucking. It comes in a few colors, and I'm probably going to buy the black and white. But, the light pink is simply perfect for Spring and white denim.

The sandals that I'm wearing are from last year and aren't going anywhere. I love these sandals because the blocky wood platform with stud detail adds the coolest retro vibe to the shoe and is on trend again for Spring and Summer 2016. I was able to find them, but size and availability are limited. I added in few other options below that will be easier to find and hot right now.

Of course, I styled the blush pink top and oatmeal cardigan with white jeans. If you haven't noticed by now or haven't seen my previous posts, I'm obsessed with white denim. With the soft colors of the top and cardigan, white pants compliment them and are the perfect match to keep the look neutral. White denim capris, shorts, or skirt would be cute as well.

If you are looking for a great Spring transition piece and staple for your closet, I'd highly recommend this cardigan. It will quickly become one of your favorites. Have a terrific week, all! - Jill xoxo
