The Best Ever Oxygen Eye Mask by VIIcode

If you’re looking for the best ever oxygen eye mask to add to your skincare routine that not only feels awesome but actually repairs and works on tired eyes with dark circles, puffiness, and/or fine lines, you need to try the VII Oxygen Mask (VII O2M) by VIIcode. It contains a mix of ingredients that your skin needs like peptides, antioxidants, vitamins, fatty acids, and more. You’ll be amazed at how much brighter and healthy the area around your eye appears after using these little gel delights!

I was so pleased that to partner up with VIIcode for a test drive of their VII Oxygen Masks to review for you because this is actually the first eye mask I’ve used -- and couldn’t be happier with the results. I tried it out for several applications over a month and do not want to be without it now. Because the eye area is so delicate, it shows age faster than other areas on your face – even if you take care of it. It needs a little extra something in terms of treatments to pamper it and keep it as healthy as can be.

I suffer from dark circles, puffiness, and fine lines around the eye. I’ve used treatments before that target some of these problems, but not all, so that means multiple products to address all of them. But, VIIcode addresses all of my issues with their cool gel masks that feel so amazing on the skin and yield actual results!

Each box of VII Oxygen Masks comes with six foil packets containing a set of jelly eye masks. They can be used once per week as a treatment or a few times per week as needed during the day or evening. These masks can be used for up to eight hours, so I suggest applying them to your under-eye areas after you’ve cleansed and moisturized your face right before bed and let them work their magic while you sleep. I add a sleeping mask over them to ensure they stay in place. And, when you wake up the next morning, your eye area looks bright, healthy, and firm. YES!!

Visit VIIcode online at to read more about their history and “ageless mythology” as well as their fabulous beauty products, ingredients, and to buy. Definitely, give these VII Oxygen Masks a try. You will love them! Pamper time! - Jill xoxo

Goals for 2018 and Beyond

No, I'm not late to the table as far as sharing my goals for the new year is concerned, I'm right on schedule. I decided to let my new year's goals marinate, if you will, during the first week or so of January. I don't like to shoot right out of the gate on January 1st or 2nd and list them out for all to see because they're often tweaked or completely changed. Notice, I mention goals and not resolutions. I ditched that word along with the ideas behind it.

I retired making resolutions several years ago because I routinely broke the majority of them early on, usually by week one or two of January, leaving me feeling defeated. Once you feel that way, it's easiest to throw in the towel on all of your good intentions and put them off for the next new year. I got tired of quitting before getting started, so, I decided a new strategy was needed, and goal-setting seemed like one that might be the answer.

It's worked fairly well and leaves me accountable, not miserable. Goals are positive in nature and can be reevaluated, adjusted, or changed altogether. There's zero guilt involved, just redirection. Resolution includes words like "not" and "problem" in its many definitions. However, ambition, aim, and effort are all words used to define goals. Which words do you prefer?!?

Goals don't need to be grandiose or laid out in such detail that the minutia becomes the focus instead of the goal itself. They simply need to be realistic and attainable. Take that "think big" idea and break it down into smaller bits that you can tackle with results. Baby-steps, one-day-at-a-time, walk-before-you-run is the idea. You don't need to move any faster than the speed that's right for YOU. If anyone pushes, push back and tell them that everything is just as it should be right now.

For me, a lot of changes are happening and more are coming. But, taking my time and working through these goals, I'll facilitate these changes in more comfortable and beneficial ways, and hopefully, experience fewer and smaller growing pains.

Below are my goals for 2018 and beyond. They’ll change and adapt, I’m sure. I will definitely keep you posted. And please, if you want, share your goals with me in the comments.  I’d love to see. I wish you the very best this year and always!– Jill xoxo

  • GET 7-9 HOURS OF SLEEP PER NIGHT (aim for 8-9) - My sleep cycle has been screwed up for almost a year now - getting four hours or less each night. I ended up very ill most of December with bronchitis and pneumonia. I know it's because I failed to give my body the rest it needed nightly. I tried to squeeze as much work in each day as I could. It backfired on me in a BIG way!

Sleep allows the body to repair, recover, and rejuvenate. Sleep studies have shown time and time again that adults should have between 7-9 hours of sleep each night for the best body function and performance. Sleep is just as important as a healthy diet and regular exercise. Shut off the phone, laptop, television, and grab any of these favorites to drift off and dream:

  • SET DAILY WORK HOURS/SCHEDULE (and stick to it) - There should always be a time to begin and end working each day with a schedule of what to do and when. Proper planning is key. If tasks and timelines aren't in front of me in a calendar, I waste so much time trying to figure out where to begin. Then I have to make up time at the end of the day for the loss at the beginning.

I'm now setting blocks of time (ample time) and listing exactly what I need to accomplish. I start my days with easier tasks first to "warm up" and get the momentum going. So far, so good! And when it's quitting time, that's it. I have more time for family, friends, and ME!

  • MY TIMELINE, MY TERMS - I always try to over-deliver, satisfy, and help others to the point of killing myself. I've been this way for as long as I can remember - maybe forever. Stretching yourself too thin ends up causing problems with your health, relationships, and overall happiness. I'm slowing down a bit this year. I'm focusing more on being selective and realistic in commitments. And, I'm learning to use the word "no" without feeling guilty.
  • TRAVEL MORE - I say this each year and NEVER follow through with it. I know that planning skills need major improvement here. A daily work schedule is cake for me in comparison. I'm going to start small in terms of time, destinations, and budget are concerned - maybe begin with a weekend staycation, then plan some lengthier getaways, and graduate with a trip abroad. These are some fun and stylish tools that help keep me on track with schedules, timelines, and planning (for phone case use code USWINTER for 20% discount):
  • LAUNCH YOUTUBE CHANNEL - I've been wanting to do this for more than a year, but I've been a big chicken. It's just that simple. I made up my mind, and I'm launching before the end of this month. I've realized in the past few months that doing things that I fear help me grow the most. It's not going to be easy, but I won't be satisfied until I try. I'd rather try and fail vs. refrain and regret. I recently grabbed these tools to begin my vlogging journey (holy moly):
